A twenty-year-old USA consumer products manufacturer was losing market share because of the price of their products. Management was not comfortable relocating manufacturing operations to China. By utilizing Crosspoint International’s contract manufacturing services, they were able to move the production of specific price-sensitive product lines to China. This reduction in cost allowed the client to regain market share.

A small North Carolina business had an idea for a product. Knowing that the product would not be competitive without the benefit of low-cost Chinese production and tooling, Crosspoint International was brought in early for guidance. Crosspoint International was able to work directly with the industrial and mechanical designers to bring the project from design to production in China in less than six months.

A European HVAC manufacturer wanted to launch a new product-line and was running out of time before their season began. Crosspoint International was given the job of tooling and producing all the plastic components for the first production run. Crosspoint International produced 53 molds and over 100,000 parts in 70 days and the customer met their deadline.

A US West Coast office furniture manufacturer was buying large amounts of custom formed sheet metal parts from US suppliers. Crosspoint International was able to provide parts of equal quality, custom-made in China and delivered to their door for 40% less than their previous cost.

A US-based garden sprayer company was having major difficulty with their Chinese vendor. After meeting us by chance in China, they toured our facility and moved their production to our factory. They were astonished that Crosspoint International was able to match the price of the competition and still offer the convenience of a US-based interface.

An existing high-end test equipment manufacturer wanted to update their product line by converting their metal product housing to plastic. Crosspoint International referred the customer to a US-based design firm. After they solidified the design, Crosspoint International produced the tooling and the parts in China. In addition, Crosspoint was also able to further lower the product cost by sourcing other product components in China.

An Australian automotive accessories company designed a custom aluminum radiator core. They had spent over a year attempting to have it made to their standards in China before they approached Crosspoint International. While we did not have the necessary equipment to fabricate this product in our own facilities, we worked with one of our partners to create this product. The customer not only was able to have their product made in China for a low cost, but they also found that our cost was less than the other Chinese vendors that had quoted.

A Swiss fiber optics equipment manufacturer had designed a new product that incorporated many custom plastic and metal parts. By contracting with Crosspoint to fabricate these parts, this customer was able to realize significant savings over local vendors without compromising their high quality expectations.

A Hong Kong consumer products company was purchasing their custom plastic parts from a Chinese injection molder in the south of China. The Hong Kong company wanted to move their plastic part production to the Ningbo region where it was less expensive. Crosspoint International was able to produce the parts in their Ningbo facility for significantly less than the existing source.

A UK product promotion company had developed a new plastic and metal product display. Instead of sourcing it though their existing local vendors, they made use of Crosspoint International’s contract manufacturing service. We fabricated custom parts, assembled the components and performed final packaging at a fraction of the UK cost. By using our service, the customer was able to ship the products directly to their customer without handling them at all.

A Canadian water heater company wanted to update their product line. By bringing in Crosspoint International early in the design process, we were able to work with the local designers and make recommendations regarding manufacturability of the product. After the design was completed, Crosspoint built the tooling and the parts and are now a key supplier of all the plastic parts for numerous product lines.

A Malaysian distributor of stainless steel parts was asked by one of their customer to provide them a custom metal bracket. The Malaysian distributor needed a quote the same day in order to win the project. Crosspoint International was able to quote within the required timeframe, thus allowing the distributor to win the business.

An Australian consortium developed a unique sports product. By working with Crosspoint International’s Australian office, the customer was able to discuss their product requirements in person. Crosspoint International worked with the customer through the development phase and now manufactures the complete product in one of our facilities.
